In my early 20s my journey was academic and brainy, flirting with the experiential. In that decade I earned a degree in World Religions and English, a career as a fashion photographer, a new husband, and a step-son.
In my early 30s my education was all experiential: as many workshops, weekend retreats, shamanic journeys and small business seminars I could pack in. Name any spiritual or self-help best-seller or weekend workshop. I’ve read it. I’ve done it. I’ve discussed it to death. I was a self-help junkie. I left that decade with a coaching practice, two divorces, and the most amazing little boy a mama could ask for.
Now I’m in my 40s. I meditate. I love, fiercely. That’s all.
I’ll leave this decade with a Master’s degree in Metaphysics. I’ll be an ordained Minister of Holistic Theology. And I’ll have a teenage son. Whew!
